A Private Culinary Journey

Thailand, one table at a time.

Bangkok's full range and Chiang Mai's northern kitchen, sequenced around appetite, access and the people who make each meal matter.

Why This Route Works

Contrast keeps the palate awake.

Bangkok moves effortlessly between exacting tasting menus, markets and family-run rooms. Chiang Mai changes the conversation through northern ingredients, growers and cooks. Two bases create culinary range without exhausting the traveler, or asking every meal to be an event.

Four Culinary Lenses

Excellent at every register.

01

Fine dining

Choose one or two consequential reservations and protect the appetite and energy they require.

02

Markets & shophouses

Go early, taste selectively and use a guide who can explain ingredients, families and regional context.

03

Private kitchens

Cook with someone whose food has a story, not a standardized demonstration built for volume.

04

Northern ingredients

Let Chiang Mai change the palate through herbs, fermented flavors, local produce and a different culinary history.

The Journey

Nine days, with room between courses.

01

Bangkok

Arrive with an appetite

Private welcome and a protected evening. Dinner is close, excellent and intentionally light after the flight.

02

Bangkok

Read the city through its markets

Begin early with a chef or specialist guide, tasting selectively and learning the ingredients that recur throughout the journey.

03

Bangkok

One serious table

Keep the daytime restrained, then build the evening around a tasting menu or chef's counter chosen for your palate, not simply its awards.

04

Bangkok

The family kitchen

Move beyond formal dining into a private cooking experience, heritage shophouse or hosted meal where technique and memory share the table.

05

Chiang Mai

North to a different cuisine

Fly north, settle into the valley and let the first meal introduce Lanna flavors without turning arrival day into a class.

06

Chiang Mai

Market, garden, kitchen

Shop with a local cook, visit growers or producers and cook privately at a pace that leaves time for conversation.

07

Chiang Mai

Meet the makers

Follow one ingredient or craft, tea, coffee, ceramics, fermentation or textiles, then finish with a dinner rooted in the region.

08

Chiang Mai

A table entirely your own

Keep the day open. The final meal can be a private chef's table, a garden dinner or something beautifully simple at the resort.

09

Departure

Leave well

Private airport transfer, with onward meals and dietary needs considered where practical.

A Private Ayurvedic Chef

Meals designed around the entire journey.

Subject to destination, property permissions and chef availability, we can arrange a private Ayurvedic chef to design a meal plan, cook during a villa or residence stay, or potentially accompany you through the full itinerary. The chef can coordinate with hotels and villa teams, adapt to preferences and allergies, and keep the dining rhythm consistent across travel days.

The menu can be entirely plant-forward or include other foods according to your preferences. The purpose is simple: consistent, nourishing meals shaped around the way you want to feel while traveling.

An Enduring Tradition

Fresh ingredients. Variety. Balance.

Ayurvedic cooking draws on a longstanding tradition of eating with the seasons and paying attention to appetite, digestion and daily rhythm. Meals often emphasize vegetables, legumes, whole grains, herbs, spices and minimally processed ingredients.

For travelers, the immediate benefit is practical: a coherent way of eating across changing hotels and travel days, with menus planned around personal preferences rather than whatever happens to be available.

Dietary Needs

Specificity protects pleasure.

Allergies, religious practices, sensory preferences and medical restrictions are communicated carefully, but no kitchen can be represented as risk-free without the venue confirming its exact controls. Severe allergies require direct review with every provider.

Reservations & Access

A reservation is not the whole design.

Menus, opening days and chef schedules change. We verify current details when planning, hold meaningful alternatives and place each meal where it supports, not dominates, the day.
